Wow. Last evening from 5:30-7:00 we created an amazing community in song. There were many new faces- happy ones, gratefully- and lots of spontaneous creative movement and dancing! Every circle was beautiful and I had a feeling that we were surrounded in a warm soothing light. The coming change in the weather, and signs of Spring were themes that kept coming to the surface, not surprisingly. Kudos to those who ventured into the center maybe for the first time to lead. Like I said…ALL the songs were rich and delicious. Endorphins for your Friday evening, anyone?
Someone suggested we host our event twice a month! Once a week!
But we get that every time.
Pictures to follow.
It still feels like a new “home,” because we’ve only been there for a couple of months, but we love the Fine Spirit Studio at 201 Dey Street. Come and join us this Friday from 5:30-7:00 for some vocal improvisation GOLD. Bring a friend or 2.
Let’s usher in Springtime with a joyful noise!
No experience necessary.
Come and watch Ephemera weave some improvisational muse with snippets of some classic Joni songs. This is a really fun event with a wide variety of local artists paying tribute to Joni Mitchell and all of the musical magic that she has made over the years.
